Yoga

Course Number
DANW-116
Description

This course provides time and space for dancers to turn inward, and move from a somatic approach. Students will experientially dive deeper into the understanding of their own individual anatomies and alignment through yogic breath work, postures, and sequencing. We will explore various themes every two weeks. A goal: to slow down and cultivate a practice that prepares not just the body, but mind for students’ artistic pursuits.
