This course introduces the foundational principles of Pilates through a series of mat-based exercises. Detailed instruction on anatomy, alignment, and body mechanics will help students build a solid foundation for becoming intelligent and efficient movers. Emphasis will be placed on integrating Pilates movement principles to enhance their understanding of how their bodies move. Students will cultivate movement habits that support long-term physical health and performance.
