Description

This course is a hands-on study of modern recording techniques for producers and artists who need to record themselves and others using a personal production toolkit. Through a series of hands-on projects culminating in a final recording, students will learn about microphone selection and placement, the effects of room ambiance on recordings, comping, direct injection, setting up cue mixes in-the-box, overdubbing, double-tracking, and stereo recording techniques.
