Description

This course delves into the creative and practical aspects of producing professional-level records. Aesthetic topics include record recreation, sound choice, pocket, song choice, song and lyric analysis, and working to brief in both the sync and label world. Practical topics include the prioritization of tasks, communication with collaborators and industry partners, the advancement of commercial and career goals, and an awareness of audiences and their expectations. Faculty and classmates will critique the class production process, from the development of demos to masters.
