Experiential Learning Workshop for Performing Artists and Creative Leaders
This course is designed to support Berklee students in developing their unique artistic identities through interdisciplinary, project-based learning while integrating core curriculum to reinforce foundational skills. Upon successful completion of this course, students will have developed a portfolio of work relevant to their chosen and/or multiple career paths, enhanced their interpersonal skills, and fostered meaningful relationships and collaborations within the Berklee community including all learning environments. Students will engage in self-discovery exercises to create professional artist bios, connect with peers through in-person and virtual collaboration, and refine their projects within a supportive lab setting. By workshopping creative concepts, receiving constructive feedback, and linking their work to the core curriculum, students will deepen their understanding of essential concepts while nurturing their unique artistic voices. This lab culminates in a showcase of completed projects, empowering students to celebrate the richness of their creativity and establish concrete next steps for continued development, both in their Berklee journey and beyond.
