Harold Nat-Johnson, a.k.a. Fretwalker, is a passionate and accomplished Sierra Leonean guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and advocate for social change through music. With a rich background spanning genres from jazz to African music, he has built a notable reputation as both a performer and educator, actively shaping the musical landscape of Sierra Leone and beyond. His work focuses on the intersection of music and social advocacy, with a particular emphasis on community development and music education.
Currently a student at Berklee College of Music, Nat-Johnson is honing his craft while working on his debut EP, Voices in My Head. His distinctive sound blends storytelling with powerful themes of human connection and social transformation. His performance credits include appearances at Jazz at Lincoln Center and the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the Howard Theatre in Washington, DC (as lead guitarist for Drizilik), David Friend Recital Hall, and Harvard Chapel. He also participated in the Global Musicians Workshop at the New England Conservatory.
