Mária Reháková, Slovak flautist, vocalist, and composer, presents a new suite of compositions that blend the rich traditions of Slovak folk music with the expressive language of contemporary jazz. Developed at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, the project explores themes of identity, belonging, and the evolving spirit of her homeland. The suite is performed by a dynamic nine-piece ensemble of emerging artists from the Global Jazz Institute, offering a fresh and deeply personal musical narrative.
