The Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice welcomes Yessaï Karapetian, a multi-instrumentalist with an ambitiously wide approach to contemporary jazz. Karapetian is a graduate of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute master's program and splits his time between New York City, Paris, France, and and Yerevan, Armenia.

The Gathering is an ongoing series presented by the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice. Events are open to the greater Berklee community and public, and feature performances, guest lectures, workshops, and discussions—all with gender and racial equity as a guiding principle.
