Harry Skoler, professor of woodwinds at Berklee College of Music, will be joined by a stellar cast of Berklee faculty including trumpeter Phil Grenadier, bassist Barry Smith, pianist Neil Olmstead, and drummer Casey Scheuerell.
Skoler’s warm and swinging clarinet playing is featured on the recent release Living in Sound: The Music of Charles Mingus, which features Christian McBride, Kenny Barron, Johnathan Blake, and Nicholas Payton in an epic tribute to the legendary jazz bassist. Skoler has garnered national and international reviews in JazzTimes, DownBeat, and JAZZIZ magazines.
