Cristina Vaira, faculty in the Songwriting Department, will debut songs from her upcoming album, I Wanna See You Fly. The album is a powerful reflection on transformation, resilience, and self-empowerment, born from facing and embracing life’s darkest moments.
A singer-songwriter from Milan, Italy, Vaira has appeared on national radio, television, and in major press outlets in her home country. In 2021, she was featured by UN Women at the Global Voices Film Festival. While a student at Berklee, she was selected for the semi-final auditions of X-Factor Italia and won several national music competitions as both a singer and songwriter.
Before moving to the US, Vaira worked at EMI Music Italy, where she promoted tours for major international artists such as Norah Jones, Katy Perry, Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone, Robbie Williams, Kings of Convenience, Jet, Vasco Rossi, Tiziano Ferro, and many others.
She joined Berklee’s Songwriting Department as a faculty member in 2023 and is currently developing a new course titled International Markets for Songwriters, aimed at artists looking to launch global careers.
