On the anniversary of a shooting at their school, eight teenagers struggle to transform their despair into hope, each through very different means. LATE, a new musical in development, offers a unique way for communities to reflect, engage, and foster dialogue around the critical issue of gun violence in schools.
LATE is written by Kathleen Cahill and Berklee professor Michael Wartofsky, directed by Emerson professor Ilana Ransom Toeplitz, and music directed by Berklee professor David Coleman. This production is funded in part by the Newbury Comics Faculty Fellowship.
