Visiting Artist: Máté Pozsár

Máté Pozsár leads a workshop on the Hungarian free and improvised music scene, based on the work of the Bartók Conservatory Creative Improvisers Youth Orchestra in Budapest, Hungary. 

The workshop will explore fundamental elements of collective improvisation at the intersection of jazz and contemporary music, and work with a composition derived from a Hungarian folk melody as a framework for guided improvisation.
