Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

One of my favorite experiences at Berklee so far was performing in the 2024 Soul Jam. Being part of a sold-out show that celebrated Black music and culture on such a large scale was unforgettable. I had the chance to collaborate with incredibly talented artists and gained valuable networking opportunities. It was an experience I'll always treasure.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

Two classes stand out: Intro to Film and a liberal arts course on Psychoanalysis in Literature. I found the material in both genuinely fascinating, and I especially enjoyed the rich discussions and how they gave me a chance to dive deeper into subjects I'm truly passionate about.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?

I love living and studying in a city. I love that Boston is a college city so, as a Berklee student, you have access to so many different campuses and groups of people. I love how accessible everything is by train or bus, and the freedom that I have to explore different parts of Boston.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

My biggest advice for new students is: don't lose sight of who you are. With so much happening all the time, it's easy to get swept up in everything and forget why you started this journey. Stay grounded. Always have something that brings you back to yourself, first as a person, then as an artist.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

Cafe 939.

Why did you choose Berklee?

I chose Berklee because it immediately felt like the ideal environment for me to learn, grow, and thrive, not just as a musician, but as a person. The thought of immersing myself in a vibrant new city rich in culture and history was incredibly exciting. What drew me even more was the opportunity to be surrounded by a diverse community of passionate, talented musicians who share my love for music and creativity.

What are your plans for after graduation?

After graduation, I plan to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music supervision and/or playlist curation by day, while continuing to perform live, write, and record new material to further develop my various artist projects.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you've been involved in at Berklee?

I truly enjoy the entire process of bringing a live show to life. From the intensity of rehearsals to the long hours spent collaborating with the cast, there's something deeply rewarding about the way we grow closer while working toward a shared goal. Being part of that journey and transforming hard work into an unforgettable production is something I genuinely love.

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

This year I hope to perform at the Berklee Performance Center for the annual Career Jam performance, Agganis Arena in Berklee's commencement concert, and at View Boston in the Prudential Center.
