Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

One of my favorite experiences at Berklee has been meeting and hanging out with my friends at the 150 Lounge. It's a place where I can chill, crack jokes, and hang out with people beyond the classroom. Whether I'm having a chat, listening to music, doing assignments, or just unwinding after a long day, the lounge has felt like a warm and friendly environment. It's those little everyday moments that have helped me make real friends and make me feel like I belong in the Berklee community.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

I've loved nearly all the classes I've taken so far, and one thing they all have in common is the feeling of ease and welcome they provided. If I were to choose one class, that would be my solfege class.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?

What I love most about studying and living in Boston is that you have a lot of wonderful places you can visit. From historical attractions to quaint coffee shops and stunning parks, it's impossible to run out of new things to enjoy. Whether it's strolling along the Charles River, going to museums, or exploring some of the cool places around town with friends, the city has a charm all its own that adds a sense of excitement to daily life. It is a place where you can feel inspired inside and outside the classroom.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

My advice to any applicant for Berklee College of Music: There is no such thing as failure, only learning and growth. Go in with all you've got, be completely honest, and always take a risk. That goes for both the audition and interview; present your true self and tell them what makes your voice and potential unique. Even when things don't go down as you've envisioned, these steps are essential.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

My absolute favorite place on campus has to be, again, the 150 Lounge. It's such a cozy and inviting place where I can kick back, catch up with friends, and take a breather from my hectic schedule. Whether I'm having a good conversation with classmates or doing a bit of light studying, it always feels like the perfect space to relax and recharge.

Why did you choose Berklee?

I picked Berklee because it offers an incredibly rich and immersive experience in music. With top-notch faculty, a diverse group of fellow students, and countless chances to collaborate and perform, Berklee is the perfect place to develop not just as a musician but also as a creative thinker and professional. It genuinely feels like the heart of the music world, and I instantly knew it was the right environment to push my limits and pursue my passion.

What are your plans for after graduation?

After I graduate, I plan to dive into different types of marketing internships to get some hands-on experience and figure out which part of the industry resonates with me the most. I'm eager to put what I've learned at Berklee into practice, particularly in the realms of music and entertainment marketing. Ultimately, I hope to carve out a path where I can support artists in growing their careers and connecting with their audiences in truly meaningful ways.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you've been involved in at Berklee?

I have to say, performing in the David Friend Recital Hall was the highlight for me. It was incredibly inspiring to share the stage with such talented friends, all of us giving our best for the show.

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

I'm open to performing wherever I can share my love for music, whether that's on campus or around Boston. I'm open to any stage because what truly matters to me is connecting with people through music. Whether it's a Berklee showcase, a local venue, or even a cozy community event, I just want to keep evolving as a performer and create moments that resonate with others.
