Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

I couldn't name just one but most of my favorite experiences have happened while engineering in the studios. The opportunity to record awesome musicians in these insane studios really makes the Berklee experience whole for me.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

Multitrack Recording was one of the best ones; the classes took place in the studios and we got to record different instruments and bands every week. It was great to be able to ask my professor, Mark Wessel, about so many different ideas I had and we often tried them in class and saw why they were useful or not.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?

With Boston being so full of colleges, I've loved getting to know people from many of them. Going to different events, parties, and connecting with people our age with different interests is definitely something that makes Boston much more enjoyable.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

I know everyone says this but really be yourself! There's a lot of diversity here and the college loves that, so if you put in the effort and you show your true self, everything will go great.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

I'm definitely repeating myself now, but once again: the studios! I really believe this is one point that sets Berklee apart from so many other great colleges. It's amazing how students from all majors get the opportunity to collaborate and create their own projects in the studios. It's really where the magic happens.

Why did you choose Berklee?

Ever since I started thinking of studying music, I heard about Berklee everywhere I went. It is the only place that offers all the different topics I wanted to learn, all taught by the best teachers in the best installations. It was definitely my dream school.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I would love to work in a studio in LA, Miami, or New York, producing music for all types of artists, recording music, and doing some post-production.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you've been involved in at Berklee?

The community was definitely the highlight of all the shows I've participated in. Getting to collaborate with so many talented musicians, to create and connect with them has been truly inspiring and fun.

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

I would love to perform at the BPC this year. Also, although it's not performance, I'd love to engineer sessions at some cool studios outside of Berklee.
