Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.
My favorite Berklee experience so far has been taking classes from different professors. Each professor brought unique insights and teaching methods, creating memorable and distinctive experiences that enriched my understanding of music and broadened my perspective in ways I hadn't anticipated.
When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?
My favorite class so far has been Intro to Musical Theater. What I enjoyed most was meeting peers who shared the same passion for musical theater and getting the opportunity to perform together. The energy and creativity in the room were contagious, and it felt incredible to collaborate with such talented and enthusiastic classmates.
What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?
My favorite part about studying and living in Boston is the vibrant learning atmosphere and the unique street style that characterizes the city. There's something about the energy here that makes every experience feel meaningful and leaves a lasting impact on my memory.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory at Berklee?
I would tell them that Berklee provides a unique musical atmosphere and opportunities for personal growth that you won't find anywhere else. The key is to come with passion and a willingness to learn, as these qualities will help you make the most of everything the school has to offer.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the library, where I can study with my friends. It's a peaceful and inspiring environment that fosters both learning and connection.
Why did you choose Berklee?
I chose Berklee because it had been my dream school since middle school. After participating in a summer program there, I was even more convinced that it was the right place for me to pursue my musical education and career goals.
What are your plans for after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to pursue a master's degree in the UK to gain both academic knowledge and cultural experiences that will further enrich my understanding of music and broaden my global perspective.
What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you've been involved in at Berklee?
What I've enjoyed most about the live shows is the opportunity to collaborate with musicians playing different instruments. It's incredibly rewarding to see how our collective hard work and preparation come together to create something beautiful and meaningful.
Where do you hope to perform this coming year?
I hope to perform at larger theaters and cafes on campus to gain more performance experience and continue developing my skills as a performer.
