Step out of the classroom and into the real world of the entertainment industry at this special networking event for Boston-area college students. Students will have the chance to meet and connect with major music industry professionals—including talent buyers, promoters, agents, event producers, artists, managers, and more—while also building relationships with fellow students from schools across the city.

Hosted at Berklee College of Music, the Association of Music Producers (AMP) and the Music Managers Forum (MMF) are presenting a panel discussion designed to educate both members and nonmembers on the process of creating original music and licensing music for advertising. 

The Music Business/Management Department and the Chinese Music Industry Club invite you to an exclusive deep dive into one of the world’s fastest-growing music markets. This student-led event will explore the structure of China’s music industry, key players, and major digital streaming platforms, while also highlighting the latest trends shaping the market.

An immersive experience designed, created, produced, and performed by Berklee students, Upside Down Universe reimagines artistic performance through innovation and collaboration.

Abby Volta is an emerging alternative and goth artist. Mixing melodic bass lines with literary-inspired lyrics, she creates catchy and meaningful music. Volta’s inspirations include Siouxsie and the Banshees, St. Vincent, and Fiona Apple. With her band, the Body Electric, Volta’s live shows are energetic, fun, and memorable.

The Music Business/Management Department will host the Boston campus’s first-ever TEDx event: TEDxBerklee Boston. The event will feature music industry guest speakers Molly Neuman and William Tenney, as well as Berklee students, faculty, and staff.
