Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.
My favorite Berklee experience so far was meeting my best friends. These people that I have only known for two years make it feel like I have known them my entire life. Making such great friends is what made the transition into college and being away from home so much easier.
When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?
When I think back to my favorite classes so far, I think about my incredible teachers. My favorite classes had teachers who were passionate and dedicated to making sure that you understood the content, which made learning a lot more enjoyable.
What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?
Studying and living in Boston is filled with beautiful sunsets and walks in the Commons. I enjoy the beautiful architecture and how every part of Boston is a new place to explore.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory at Berklee?
One piece of advice I would give to someone applying to both the Conservatory and College at Berklee is to get involved with student life, take the time to meet people from both the college and Conservatory, and take advantage of all of the student events and resources.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is in the lounges of the highest floors of 160 Mass. Ave. during sunset!
Why did you choose Berklee?
I chose Berklee because I knew that it was the place where I would be able to make connections with people from around the globe. On top of that, Berklee encourages its students to experiment in all aspects of music.
What are your plans for after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to be an A&R or casting director! I also plan to open my own vocal studio on the side and continue doing theater.
What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you've been involved in at Berklee?
I have enjoyed performing in concerts with live orchestras and band members. Not only is it a great feeling to be able to perform with so many live instrumentalists, but you are able to make friendships with everyone during free time.
Where do you hope to perform this coming year?
I hope to perform at different venues in Boston, whether that be on the stage or helping backstage!
