Creative Aging and Older Adults
Music that connects, uplifts, and inspires at every age

Aging is a deeply creative and relational process—and music helps make it healthier, more joyful, and more connected. At the Music and Health Institute, we design culturally relevant, music-based programs that support memory, movement, and emotional well-being for older adults in care communities and at home.
Rooted in music therapy and community music practices, our experiences:
Spark memory, storytelling, and meaning-making.
Encourage movement, creativity, and self-expression.
Foster social connection and reduce isolation.
Support caregivers and strengthen intergenerational bonds.
Each program is tailored to the diverse cultural identities, abilities, and health needs of participants, creating spaces where older adults feel seen, valued, and inspired. Whether singing together, drumming in a group, or sharing a musical moment with youth, these experiences cultivate joy, purpose, and belonging.
Empowering healthy aging through music, creativity, and connection—across cultures, together.
