At the Music and Health Institute, we believe learning must evolve alongside the field. That’s why we offer a range of curated educational experiences—from academic programs to applied training—designed to equip students, professionals, and community leaders with the tools, fluency, and confidence to turn research into real-world impact.

Whether you're an artist exploring health applications, a clinician integrating music into care, or an entrepreneur developing the next wellness innovation, you'll join a vibrant network of peers and mentors who are shaping the future of music and health from every angle.

What We Offer

Our programs cultivate the next generation of leaders in music and health—translating evidence into practice, creativity into action, and curiosity into lasting change.

The Music Therapy Major and Arts and Health Minor offer a dynamic interdisciplinary foundation in music, neuroscience, cultural studies, and public health. As a global leader in music and health, we offer distinct academic pathways for students passionate about using their creativity to improve lives.

Our certificate training provides a pathway for musicians, culture-bearers, and teaching artists to deliver music-based programs in community settings. This non-clinical program emphasizes cultural relevance, trauma-informed practice, and cross-sector collaboration.

This event series brings together leaders from healthcare, the arts, education, research, and technology to explore big questions, share real-world case studies, and imagine what’s next for music and well-being.

Our interactive workshops and CE courses provide hands-on learning and skill-building for professionals in music, therapy, education, and care.

We’re building a learning ecosystem that reflects the diversity, creativity, and urgency of today’s world. At the Music and Health Institute, education goes beyond the classroom—it happens in care centers, on community stages, in studios, and around shared tables. Our programs support you in learning not only about music and health, but how to use both to transform systems, stories, and lives.
